Windward Analytical is the North American distributor for DaVinci Laboratory Solutions, the sole supplier of ASTM D7756, Residue in LPG. 


This method is the referee method in the Propane Specification.   It consists of an Agilent 8890 GC configured with 3 columns and a pressure switch to isolate the residue.   Sample introduction is done with the DaVinci Pressure Station to ensure a representative sample. 


The DaVinci injector made with a fuel injector.  This replaces a typical liquid injection valve. It can take higher pressure without leaking, and can be rinsed to remove the previous sample.  Additionally there are several advantages over a traditional valve. The result is a more accurate determination of not only the amount of residue but also the boiling point.
